The images expand the image database of Springer Medicine and the Science Photo Library. They appear in trade journals, books, at conferences and in online publications.

MMW – Fortschritte der Medizin (MMW – Advances in Medicine) serves as a continuing education resource for practising physicians. More than 50 editors are responsible for the high quality of the magazine. The current cover image is one of the latest designs from CAT MEDIC. The image shows a renal catheter entering the renal artery via the femoral artery and the abdominal aorta.

Cover image “The Urologist”
Der Urologe, the joint journal of the Professional Association of German Urologists and the German Society of Urology, is published monthly by Springer Medizin with a circulation of approximately 7,000 copies.
CAT MEDIC and urology
The current cover image of the January issue of Der Urologe features the first motif from Springer Medizin’s own image database. The images were created by CAT MEDIC based on an accurate human anatomy model. This model is available in 3D visualisation and animation. By the end of 2014, a further 11 cover images from this medical image series by CAT MEDIC will follow.
