Recap of the “Festival of the Future” at the Deutsches Museum
Following the TechDays and the exhibition of the Penzberg Museum – Campendonk Collection (until October 30, 2022), we were present from July 22 to 24 at the Festival of the Future in the Forum of Technology at the Deutsches Museum in Munich. Within three days, new trends, ideas, and technologies for a better future were presented there. A wide range of topics were covered, from AI to sustainability, Web3, and biotech.

Together with our partner MediaScreen, we presented the HoloTube featuring CAT PRODUCTION content here. In a tube more than 2 meters high, any representations, similar to a hologram, can be spatially displayed. The current theme of the installation is the human body. Depending on interest, one can choose between internal organs, the immune and nervous systems, the musculature, and a pumping heart that allows insights into the heart chambers.
The detailed human model originates from CAT PRODUCTION GmbH, while the HoloTube itself is from MediaScreen. The applications of the HoloTube, offering a comprehensive view into the body, are diverse, but this is only one area of application. The great interest in the system and its content shown by companies, curators, individuals from the healthcare sector, as well as students, pupils, and adults who wished to enhance their health literacy, has demonstrated the potential this system holds for schools and universities, extending to its use in clinics, museums, and at trade fairs.
