Extension of the special exhibition “Save Me! Humanity as a Motor. From the Red Cross to Art” until November 6, 22

Since July 16, 2022, CAT PRODUCTION GmbH has been exhibiting its medical project at the Penzberg Museum under the title “Anatomy as a Symbiosis of Art and Science”, as part of the special exhibition “Save Me! Humanity as a Motor. From the Red Cross to Art”.

“… our new special exhibition “Save Me! Humanity as a Motor: From the Red Cross to Art” experiences a significant enrichment through your loans. Many visitors are particularly positively surprised and enthusiastic about the virtual body worlds.”

Veronika Kollek – Research Assistant Department 5 | Administration Museums Penzberg

We were able to experience the resonance that the exhibition triggers in public perception at the “Art & Wine in the Museum” event on Thursday, October 15, 2022. The focus of the evening was on guided tours through the “Virtual Body Worlds”, with explanations from the curator Freia Oliv and the managing director of CAT PRODUCTION GmbH Johannes Atze. In the discussions at the end of the evening, one could hear that some of the visitors had deliberately come to the exhibition again and the other part wanted to explore the interactive exhibits again in peace.

During the guided tours, visitors were surprised that the possibilities shown are not yet standard in patient communication and in education. Perhaps the exhibition will help to take a step further at this point.
